About the facility

Ranch is located in the weekend settlement Kenđija, only 2km from the road that leads from Bezdan to Danube River, in the municipality of Sombor in a pleasant natural environment of Vojvodina plains. Ranch was founded at the beginning of twentieth century and it is one of the oldest surviving farm communities in whole Vojvodina. Farm exists for a hundred years as a single unit consisting of a house with all the elements of an authentic Vojvodina house. House includes 2 bedrooms (capacity for 6 to 8 people), kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a beautiful large terrace. Around the farm is approximately 0.5 hectares of arable land on which are grown agricultural products that are produced without pesticide treatment. All of these agricultural products are used in a nutrition of visitors. From agricultural products we make best jams, compotes, various kinds of rakija (traditional Serbian alcohol drink), juices and so on. Our region and our farm are well known for high-quality fish stew. The thing which this facility distinguishes from similar ones is its position. Ranch is literally 5 steps far from the Great Bajski channel, which passes along the entire length of our property. On the channel is located a large number of excellent spots for fishing, but there is also a great number of places for swimming. This farm is the perfect place for a holiday in quietness and a real paradise for fishermen. In the environment of the old household in Vojvodina, are served forgotten, indigenous dishes of this area. Ranč has an ability to accommodate up to 50 guests. To small groups of tourists there is a possibility to prepare food by themselves.
